Ghana bourse closes unchanged, volume low

ACCRA, Aug 30 (Reuters) - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) index ended unchanged on Monday in a low volume, with no price move registered, according to the market report.

The all-share index remained at 788.76, the same as Friday's and is still 9.17 percent lower on the year. Volume was dismal at 13,500 shares worth 20,334 million cedis ($7,717), compared with 286, 200 shares traded on Friday.

Ghana Commercial Bank was the most active stock with 10,600 shares traded.

In recent sessions, the index has been moving in a very narrow range.
