Ghana's economy will run on dollars soon – Preacher claims

A Ghanaian preacher, Prophet Clement Testimony of the WorldLight Revival Centre, has made a series of prophetic claims about Ghana’s economic future, including the widespread use of the United States dollar alongside the local currency.

Speaking in a video, he suggested that the United States dollar would become commonly used in everyday transactions across the country.

“A time will come when the dollar will be common in Ghana; even market women will trade with the dollar. The American dollar and the Ghana cedi will become like twins,” he stated.

He further claimed that Ghana would enter a new phase of global relevance through closer ties with the United States.

“A strange realm will open. Ghana and the U.S. will become one in a sense. Donald Trump will decide to come to Ghana, and there will be some form of agreement,” he said.

According to him, such developments would elevate Ghana’s status on the continent.

“Ghana will become the powerhouse of Africa, just as the U.S. is the powerhouse of the world,” he added.

The prophet also spoke about developments in the country’s natural resource sector.

“Ghana will have its own gold refinery, and God will change the name of Ghana back to the Gold Coast,” he claimed.

He maintained that these changes would bring long-term prosperity to the country.

"Ghana will prosper even after John Dramani Mahama,” he said.

Prophet Clement also asserted that he had previously predicted key political and developmental events.

“Before the elections, I said President Mahama and Donald Trump are twins in spirit. Everything happening in Ghana now, I have already prophesied it, including the ongoing road construction activities,” he claimed.

He concluded by expressing confidence that his prophecies would eventually be validated.

“We will rebroadcast these videos, and people will know that God speaks,” he stated.
