Ghana signs ICT agreement with South Africa

Accra, Sept. 05, GNA - Ghana on Wednesday signed a master franchise agreement with South Africa for the introduction of educational information communication and technology computer for kids. Ghana, represented by E-toys & More, Children's Education and Skills Development Company, would promote the Computers 4 Kids, a renowned Educational ICT Company based in South Africa, branded as the exclusive marketer and franchisee in Ghana in addition to the comprehensive Schools Solutions it already offers.

Speaking to newsmen after the signing Mr George Sackey Jr., Executive President of E-toys & More said, "we are very excited about our latest partnership with Computers 4 Kids as it offers Ghana the opportunity to enrich our software content for our e-learning centres with schools."

He said Computers 4 kids is a member of the "HP Consortium," respected across the African Continent for providing locally integrated ICT lesson modules to schools by facilitating effective learning in schools through the use of ICT.

Mr Sackey said the integrated curriculum modules of Computers 4 Kids was currently being used by hundreds of schools and thousands of learners across South Africa, Nigeria and other African countries. Several schools in the United Kingdom also use the integrated curriculum for schools by Computers 4 Kids.
