Ghana to ban importation of used LPG cylinders

The Ministry of Trade and Industry on Wednesday said a legislative instrument is being prepared to ban the importation of used LPG cylinders because of the danger they pose to users.

The Ministry of Trade and Industry on Wednesday said a legislative instrument is being prepared to ban the importation of used LPG cylinders because of the danger they pose to users. A statement issued in Accra by the Ministry asked importers and the public to stop placing orders for used cylinders. They should also cancel those orders for cylinders that have not yet been shipped to the country.
