Ghana to import Iranian made cars

LONDON, October 22 (IranMania) - President of Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) said the West African country would import the cars of Iran Khodro, reported the national automaker.

Solomon Abam Quartey voiced Ghana?s willingness for meeting some part of its fleet needs by the Iranian company in his visit to the industrial group?s production line, said MNA.

?The French carmaking giant Peugeot has a lion?s share in Ghana?s auto market,? said the visiting official noting that Iran Khodro, thanks to its close cooperation with Peugeot company, can develop a lucrative market in his country.

Quartey hailed Iran Khodro products as attractive, assuring that Samand and Aryan sedans will be highly welcome in Ghana.

Samand enjoys high technical features and appeals the clients, he said, expressing hope Iran will export the national car to Ghana in the near future.

Ghana has already imported buses from Iran Khodro Diesel.
