‘Ghana will survive the economic turbulence’

Mr. Kofi Porturphy, Contestant in the National Democratic Congress Chairmanship race, says Ghana could survive the current economic turbulent and assured all citizenry to have confidence in the government.

He said government had put in place all the necessary measures to improve revenue collection and stabilize the cedi against the dollar and that Ghanaians should be motivated by these changes.


Mr. Porturphy was speaking to the GNA at the end of a four-day campaign visit to the Western Region.


The Aspirant also met delegates of the party to learn at first hand the concerns of the electorates at the grassroot.

He said the NDC party would not renege on investing in the people especially the youths of the country adding, “We are mobilizing people and stretching out our hands to all”.


The Aspiring Chairman refuted the charge that he was using state resources to organize his campaign and that there was no conflict of interest with his current position as the NADMO boss and his quest to lead the NDC.
