Nii Okai Koi Adjaidoo, Founder of DreamBrander has been adjudged the winner of the Ethiopian Airlines Global Logo competition.
The competition is part of the Airlines’ 70th Anniversary to design a logo for the celebrations.
For his prize, Nii Adjaidoo won two Ethiopian Airlines economy class tickets to any destination of his choice with some spending money.
Mrs. Gifti Abasiya Ababulgu, the Ethiopian Ambassador to Ghana, presenting the prize to Adjaidoo, congratulated him for showing a great deal of creativity in the logo.
She said while busy bringing Africa together through improved air services, the Airlines has also focused on being Africa’s link to the world by expanding its international route network.
For the past 60 years, this pioneering airline has been driven by a Pan-African vision and zeal to develop air links across the continent, thereby facilitating travel, trade, tourism and economic development in Africa, she said.
"The commitment to excellence of Ethiopian Airlines is manifested by the significant investment it has made over the years in new aircraft," she added.
She said the Airline in future seeks to upgrade its aircrafts to better serve Africa and connect the world.
Mrs. Genet Michael, the Area Manager, Ethiopian Airline, told the GNA that the competition was an online event organized across the globe, and Ghana won.
She said the climax of the celebration would be held in April, next year.
"We have acquired new aircrafts to enable us serve our clients effectively and efficiently," he added.
Nii Adjaidoo commended the management of the Airline for recognizing his creativity and his team for a good work done in bringing out their best in the competition.
Ethiopian Airlines is a truly indigenous Pan-African global carrier that operates the youngest and the most modern fleet on the continent with an average aircraft age of less than seven years.
Ethiopian Airlines currently serves 91 international destinations across five continents with over 232 daily departures.
