As part of its corporate social responsibility, state oil company, Goil, has reduced the price of diesel by 18 pesewas per gallon.
This means that four pesewas has been slashed off every liter of diesel purchased by vehicle owners during the Easter festivities. The move comes on the back of the recent increase in petroleum products by the oil marketing companies.
The changes takes effect today, Wednesday, March 23.
In a statement Goil said “the decision is part of its corporate social responsibility towards cushioning consumers during the Easter festivities”.
