The Golden Bean Hotel, as part of its desire to court more customers, relaunched its facility in Accra last Tuesday.
During the relaunch, Board Chairman Maxwell Kojo Atta-Krah indicated that the function’s purpose was for Golden Bean to get closer and introduce their services to the public.
He said: “We want to create a family of patrons, both individuals and corporate bodies, who will not just be clients but become members of the family so that anytime they come around they will feel at home.”
“I hope as Golden Bean strives to provide good services which satisfy you, as patrons you will also endeavour to channel your respective programmes to be held at Golden Bean,” Mr. Atta-Krah urged.
The hotel, which is fast-becoming the preferred destination for both business and leisure guests, has won a number of awards for its excellent service delivery. The awards include the Top Quality Emerging Hotel Brand Service and Comfort, and a Certificate of Excellence in Outstanding Performance, both in August 2015.
In the same month, the Minister of Trade and Industry Mr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah also presented the hotel’s management with resounding recognition for its role at the Ghana Business and Financial Services Award.
Melchizedek Owusu Boachie, Sales and Marketing Manager-Golden Bean Hotel, said in an interview with the B&FT that the hotel is not only business-centred but also committed to its corporate social responsibilities.
“Our entering into the tourism and hospitality industry has yielded dividends and we are doing very well; but when we talk about dividends we are not only looking at nominal value or revenue that is made -- being able to provide jobs to people is also a way of giving back to society,” he said.
“We give our services a personal touch whereby our guests are our personal responsibility, and until we make sure our guests are satisfied our job is incomplete,” Mr. Owusu Boachie added.
He also hinted at the company’s plans to open branches in other parts of the country “soon”.
The plush 51-room hotel is located 15 minutes’ drive from the Kumasi Airport; five minutes away from both the VIP station and the famous Kumasi Central Market, with a fire station just two minutes away.
The Golden Bean Hotel has two domes, each coming with a capacity of 800 and providing an ideal facility for conferences, banquets and other events with large numbers of people. The well-decorated, fully air-conditioned domes offer a touch of glamour and beauty with class, for all business and social events.
