Goldfields CEO pays courtesy call on Mining Minister

The CEO of Goldfields Ghana Limited Mr. Nick Holland has called on the Lands and Natural Resources Minister Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh on Monday.

Mr Holland assured the Hon. Minister and his team of more investment in the country as the company seeks to expand its frontiers in the coming years.

Kwaku Adomah-Cheremeh and his Deputy Mrs Barbara Oteng-Gyasi who is responsible for Mines, jointly commended Goldfields for their Social interventions drive especially in the Construction of the Tarkwa-Damang road project, oil palm Plantations and the current desire of the Company to fix the Tarkwa township roads among others.

On his part, Hon. Benito Owusu Bio assured the Company that government will continue to protect the investment of mining companies operating in Ghana.

Present at the meeting included the Board Chairman of Minerals Commission Hon.S.K Boafo, and Chief Director Prof. Patrick Agbesinyale.
