The government has dismissed fears that the $3 billion Chinese development loan may not be delivered due to some administrative lapses.
Civil Society groups like Imani Ghana have raised red flags over the facility saying the Chinese partners are not convinced about the proposals of disbursement and expenditure submitted by the Ghanaian government.
But the government has refuted the claims.
Speaking to the media at the second edition of the daily press briefing at the Flagstaff House, Information and Media relations Minister Mahama Ayariga said the government is on course in accessing the facility.
“I want to assure you that the government of Ghana has met all its obligations and the arrangements for the CDB loan," said Mahama Ayariga.
“The Finance Minister is working on with our Chinese counterparts on that loan."
