Government is embarking on trade and investment promotion

The Minister for Trade and Industry,Haruna Iddrisu says Government is embarking on an aggressive trade and investment promotion in securing Ghana as investment center.

He said, it is the desire of Government to make Ghana a singapour of Afirca since there is engaged in many strategy and measures to ease the cost of Business in Ghana. This he said will help improved on the regime at the port to supplicate customs working 24hours though the regime of LI 766,so that importers will not unnecessary and unjustifiably repaid generalist for laxative of Government Officials.

The Minister said this at the 18th Ghana international fair that was commence in Accra with key number of Dignitaries across the developing country with the opportunity to draw the international community’s attention to the Economic and business agenda for the year ahead.

“For Ghana to achieve it goals the ministry is embarking on sensitization effort in promoting made in Ghana Good “he quote.

Haruna Iddrisu disclose that over 3oo million US dollar is set to spent on Rice importation whiles 192 US dollars on Oil and tomatoes as product which has comparative advantage and therefore call support for Government in quest to restructure Ghana’s Economy .

Acting Deputy Chief of Trade Fair,Nana kwame Ofori Amanfo said the international trade fair is one of the most important Economic fair organized by the company. The fair which is said to end on 10th march will seek to create opportunity for investor to generate income and strengthen it relationship.

He assured exhibitors and participant that adequate security is been provided.
