Granada Hotel has been one of the earliest ancient public places when Accra was indeed Accra. KLM and all those Airlines patronized the hotel.

Somewhere along the line, events overtook the hotel and a prominent Agona Chief, Nana Richmond Kojo Aggrey, bought the hotel from an old Lebanese Entrepreneur about 8-years ago.

Nana Richmond Aggrey has since been looking to opportunities to construct an ultra-modern first-class hotel at the heart of Airport City.

The project would be managed by one of the top international chains of hotels and well known American chain brand.

The hotel is going to be built by Italian International construction giants, Michelleti, with advice from the American international chain.

The ultramodern hotel is set to be a 12-storey-building with over 200-rooms, a lounge and underground car parking.

Without any shred of doubt, this is one of the hottest spots in Ghana near the Airport so it is designed to suit the best standards.

Currently, all the offices have been closed down including the Forex Bureau, Shipping Agencies including Nana Richmond Aggrey’s own offices have all been shut down awaiting the final exit of Imperial Perking Restaurant.

Right after the exit of Imperial Perking, the old Granada Hotel shall make way for the new edifice at Airport City.
