Guinness Ghana changes name to Guinness Ghana Breweries Plc

Ghana’s leading total beverage company, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited has changed its corporate name to Guinness Ghana Breweries PLC. This is in accordance with the demands of the Company's Amendment Act 835.

Following shareholders’ approval at the company’s 46th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in November 2018, the name of the company, Guinness Ghana Brewery Limited (GGBL) has now changed to become Guinness Ghana Breweries PLC (Public Limited Company).

The Corporate Relations Director of the company Gabriel Opoku-Asare said, “Our ambition to be the best performing, most trusted and respected consumer products company in Ghana is on course, so our cherished stakeholders should be rest assured that this is the same great company with a new name”.

The corporate name change should not negatively affect existing business relationships and transactions with our concerned parties.
