Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL), Ghana’s only total beverage business in line with its commitment to delight consumers has launched a new promotion dubbed ‘Star Win Gold’ to award loyal consumers of their product.
Speaking at the launch of the promotion, the Marketing Manager of GGBL, Carsten Schemmer said the promotion is inspired by the Gold Quality Monde Award that Star Beer won in 2016 and 2017 as Ghana’s best-tasting beer for its superior taste and quality, for which they decided to give something back to the Ghana upon winning for two consecutive years.
He expressed his excitement towards the promotion indicating that 200 people are expected to win a bar of gold to reward its loyal consumers which means 200 pieces of pure gold will be on the market.
The ‘Star Win Gold’ promotion is a nationwide promo which will run for three months starting from December and ending on February 2018. Over 50,000 bottles of Gold Star Beer will be on the market with prizes under the crown having inscriptions printed on it by either winning a ‘gold bar, free drink or sorry’.

1. Buy a bottle of Gold Star Beer
2. Open the bottle
3. Check under the crown
4. Three prizes have been printed on it, it’s gold, free beer or sorry
5. If you have a gold crown, just call the number printed on the neck label. PMMC which is the gold delivery service will package the gold and deliver it through FedEx to your house.
6. If it’s a free beer, you can redeem it at every Star anchor bar across the country.
