HFC Bank Ghana has donated 35,000 Ghana Cedis to four institutions in Accra.

The beneficiaries are the Ridge Church School towards their 60th Anniversary Celebrations, the National Partnership for Children’s Trust (NPCT), the SOS Children’s Village Ghana and the University of Ghana Needy Students Fund.

Speaking at the event, Mr Robert Le Hunte, Managing Director of HFC Bank, indicated that the Bank had “Building Successful Communities” as one of its visions.

“The Bank, therefore, ensures that as it works to deliver sustainable growth and shareholder value, it also contributes to the wider community by being a responsible corporate citizen, a Bank with a heart and an employer of choice,” Mr Le Hunte said.

He gave the assurance that the Bank was committed to promoting and engaging in activities that benefited and enhanced the socio-economic development of the community and the country as a whole.

He said the Bank would continue to engage in a number of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in its bid to positively touch the lives of the society within which it operates. He said earlier this year, the Bank undertook a nationwide blood donation exercise as part of its Valentine’s Day celebration.

In 2016, it supported youth athletics development, built an ultra-modern pre-school block for the residents of Manchie in the Ga West Municipality of the Greater Accra region. The Bank also renovated and donated to some key hospitals in the country as part of its Staff Volunteerism initiatives.

The HFC Bank Ghana Limited is a leading Universal Banking Institution in Ghana. Its services include Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, Mortgage Banking and Micro Finance.

It has been instrumental in the development of the mortgage industry in Ghana and continues to be the number one home loan provider in the country with over 30 per cent share of the mortgage industry.

HFC Bank Ghana is now a subsidiary of the Republic Financial Holdings Limited, one of the largest and most successful independent commercial banks in the English-speaking Caribbean with over 176 years of banking experience.
