Accra, July 28, GNA - The HFC Bank (Ghana) Limited on Thursday handed over a two–bedroom room detached house to Ms Sophia Aryee, the second winner of the 2010 Homesave promotion, at a ceremony at Oyarifa in Accra.

The promotion is one of the ways through which the bank rewards its cherished customers for their dedication and loyalty over the years.

It also serves as a means of promoting the goal of home ownership by making customers become home owners, sooner than they could imagine.

Mr Asare Akuffo, Managing Director of the Bank, presenting the keys to Ms Aryee, noted that the bank had over the years provided 8,000 home loans to Ghanaians.

He therefore encouraged the public to continue to save with the Bank in order to own houses.

Mr Akuffo entreated customers of the bank not to give up in the draw saying “everyone is a winner”.

The Managing Director announced that the third draw would be held in September this year.

Receiving the keys to the GH¢40,000 house, Ms Aryee expressed her appreciation to HFC Bank for fulfilling its obligation.

Ms Aryee, a secretary, called on Ghanaians to start saving with the bank because the promotion was genuine.

“I am now a landlady even though I have not paid a pesewa to anybody. I am a landlady today because of HFC Bank,” she added.

To the bank’s customers, Ms Aryee said: “If you are already in the promotion, do not withdraw your money because the third draw will be in September this year and you could be the one.”

The bank is giving away three two-bedroom houses to three lucky winners and 10 consolation prizes to other winners.

To qualify for the draw, customers of the bank and the public need to maintain a minimum deposit of GH¢100 in the HFC Homesave account, Life Starter, Smartsave and Student's Plus Account.

On March 28, this year, the bank handed over the first house to Mr John Arhinful Mensah, a customer of the Takoradi branch of the bank.
