HFC Bank opens new branch at Kasoa

Accra, Sept. 15, GNA - Home Finance Company (HFC) Bank on Tuesday opened a new branch of the Bank at Kasoa in the Central Region to tap into the town's emerging economic and financial markets. Mr. Asare Akuffo, Managing Director of the Bank, said the HFC Kasoa Branch would therefore be a one-stop-shop in the provision of financial services solutions for both existing and prospective customers in and around the town and beyond, he noted.

"Our diversified financial services range from traditional commercial banking, through mortgage banking, investment banking, real estate services to microfinance banking." He said HFC Bank was known for its innovation, high level customer services and dedication to duty adding that the people of Kasoa would benefit from these qualities.

Dr. Joseph K. Adjei, Managing Director of HFC-Boafo Micro-Finance Services, said the company, which was established two years ago, currently provides five core loan products to its clientele including; HI-5 for home improvement in five areas - land purchase, structure construction, roofing, fittings and fixtures and finishing. It also provided 'express' loans to groups to augment working capital, Open and operate Susu loan schemes with each one having its own unique conditions.

He said HFC-Boafo had entered into tri-partite agreement with the SSNIT Informal Sector Fund and HFC Bank Ltd to help expand its businesses, adding that a pilot scheme under the agreement had already commenced in Accra and Koforidua and this would be rolled out in all branches. 15 Sept. 09
