Two of the three joint managing directors of Hamburg International Airlines, Mr. Christoph Von Saldern and Mr. Robert Grella will be visiting Ghana from Wednesday 29th June to Friday 1st July, 2005. Hamburg International in partnership with APSTAR Airlines has been operating charter flights from Hamburg and Dusseldorf to Accra since November 2004, using state-of-the-art aircraft, B737-700.
The two member delegation will hold strategic meetings with APSTAR Airlines so as to strengthen their existing relationship and develop strategies to increase business.
Hamburg International Airlines has been designated as the second German carrier after Lufthansa to operate flights between Ghana and Germany. In effect, Hamburg International will now operate scheduled flights between Germany and Ghana. It will operate as a low cost carrier, offering economy class service on its designated routes. The airline will therefore be the first carrier to offer no frills but quality services to Ghana.
Hamburg International will introduce additional flights from Dusseldorf through Munich to Accra in November 2005.
