Deputy Managing Director of Heritage Bank Limited, Mr. Peter Sangber-Dery, has announced the Heritage Bank’s vision of building a globally competitive business in Ghana.
This he opined, will create convenience banking for customers and trigger widespread growth and opportunities for individuals and businesses within the communities in which they serve.
Speaking at the launch of the Adum branch of the bank, Mr. Sangber-Dery said the bank has placed emphasis on maximising convenience for customers by listening to them and have a deeper understanding of what their needs and wants are which will enable the bank to craft banking services for each individual needs and wants.
“We are of the firm conviction that convenience is the key to success in this endeavor and it gives customers the time, space and freedom to explore to grow their businesses and to achieve their personal and business goals” he added.
He further stated that the current happenings in the banking industry has made Heritage Bank Limited adopt ‘trust’ as one of its hallmarks and the basis on which the bank is founded.
“Heritage Bank Limited is built on ethical and safe banking practices backed by robust internal and external control, auditing processes and risk management,” he stressed.
He said the bank has a solid financial backing and would not be adversely affected by capitalisation requirements for banks.
He reiterated that due to the bank’s highly experienced banking professionals with a wealth of both local and international expertise, they have learnt lessons from the experiences of past and present banks and have taken time to do the necessary risk-analysis, made the requisite projections and taken adequate precautions to forestall any eventuality.
He further assured customers and stakeholders of the bank that in a bid to provide convenient, safe and sustainable banking experience, Heritage Bank Limited will always remain responsible.
