High Powered General Electric Delegation Goes To Ghana

A high powered delegation from General Electric Corporation, (G.E) one of the leading electrical companies in the United States and the world with an annual turnover of 125 billion dollars in the year 2000, will be visiting Ghana from August 13 and 14 this year.

The President and Regional Executive of G.E Mr. Parfrat Lakibi will lead the delegation.

According to a press release from the Information Office of the Ghana Embassy in Washington DC, Ghana’s envoy to the US, Ambassador Alan Kyerematen says the visit will be a demonstration of the high level of confidence in the government and the business environment in the country.

The delegation will hold consultations with various sector Ministries including the Ministry of Energy, Road and Transport and Health and will also meet representatives from the private sectors as well.

General Electric has been declared the Most Admired Company in the US by Fortune Magazine for the fifth year in a role and The Financial Times also for the fourth time running named it as the world’s Most Respected Company.

The visit has been arranged in collaboration with the Ghana Embassy in Washington DC.
