The 2014 Budget statement and Economic Policy of the government was presented to Parliament today which announced plans to transform Ghana into a fully-fledged middle income economy.
Finance Minister, Seth Terkper, said President John Dramani Mahama, his Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, Ministers of State and all government appointees will from 2014 take a voluntary 10 percent pay cut in their salaries to help save Ghana's ailing economy.
