Hollard Ghana has opened an ultra-modern digital branch at Tema to provide efficient life assurance and insurance services to clients.
The new office which is located at Tema Community 1 is to provide prompt service to customers and the public in the catchment area.
Speaking at the inauguration of the new branch, Group Chief Executive Officer of Hollard, Patience Akyianu assured that the branch will offer quality services to customers. She reiterated the company’s objective of becoming the insurance company of choice for Ghanaians.
She, therefore, charged the workers to uphold the company’s core values and treat clients and potential clients with utmost respect.
“As part of our strategy to deepen our footprint in Ghana and to bring our superior products both the general and life insurance businesses under one roof for the convenience of our cherished customers, we are opening our first insurance shopping arcade by relocating the Tema branch and setting up a new branch for Hollard”.
“Our partnership approach to doing business and engaging in our communities is known as the triple win and ensures all parties in the chain – customers, distribution partners and ourselves win”. The vision of Hollard is to become Ghana’s favourite insurer, she said.
The Deputy Commissioner of Insurance, Kofi Andoh challenged Hollard to take the necessary steps to make the industry very attractive and make customers’ experience a key part of their operations.
He lauded the growth Hollard in the country and charged them to be transparent and honest in their dealings.
“Hollard is one of most respected and most well-governed companies. I had the privilege of interacting with the Hollard Africa CEO and he said a few things that I hope I will see in Ghana. Customer experience is a key component of insurance. A good customer experience brings very tangible benefits to the growth of the business and gaining market share and improving the stability of the company. You should be transparent and honest to customers and have ears for your customers”, he said.
Addressing the gathering, the Managing Director of Hollard Life, Nashiru Iddrisu expressed conviction that the company with innovative and highly trained professionals will make significant impact in the insurance industry and achieve their objective of creating and securing a better future for their client.
He indicated that the new branch is fully equipped to deal with issues such as claims and complaints without falling on their head office in Accra.
The life assurance side of the new Tema branch has five experienced sales managers, three customer service officers and 26 well-trained business executives.
