Scene from the arrival of Ibrahim Mahama's new private jet – Bombardier Global 6500
Ghanaian business mogul and CEO of Engineers and Planners, Ibrahim Mahama, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, received the brand-new Bombardier Global 6500 private jet he had reportedly acquired.
The aircraft was purchased in 2024, with delivery taking place in February 2026.
A viral video sighted by GhanaWeb showed the arrival of the new private jet at the Accra International Airport.
The private jet, which had the signature “Dzata” of Ibrahim Mahama, could be seen gently descending in that direction at the direction of an aircraft marshaller.
After the jet landed, the Ghanaian business mogul was seen disembarking from it amid cheers and applause from the crowd at the airport, who were there to welcome him.
Ibrahim Mahama was presented with a bouquet, after which a bottle of champagne was popped.
He then shared a warm hug with the Managing Director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare.
The business mogul could be seen either shaking hands or waving at the gathering, saying, “Thank you for coming to welcome me.”
