Image Consortium gears up for 16th IBCPE with focus on ‘Build it Right’ agenda

Management of Image Consortium Group International (IC Group International) is gearing up for this year’s International Building Construction and Property Exhibition to be held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra in collaboration with the Works and Housing Ministry.

The exhibition, the IC Group, indicated will host a number of Ghanaian companies as well as foreign companies who trade in various building materials and products from October 4-6, 2018.

Mr. Erick Bertin Houadjeto, Board Chairman of the Group, told the Goldstreet Business that this year’s event, the 16th edition, involves demonstrations, seminars and workshops amidst the sale and marketing of building materials and other products that form part of the building mix.

Collaborators of the event, he mentioned, include the Ghana Institute of Architects, Institute of Engineers, Institute of Surveyors, Institute of Planners, Ghana Real Estate Developers Association and the Chartered Institute of Builders, among others.

“We’ve had architects from Nigeria, Benin, Burkina Faso and all over the sub-region represented at our previous exhibitions. This year, we’ll have a delegation from Austria at the event,” he said.

As of now, 73 companies have so far registered for the upcoming event, with the numbers expected to hit 85 by the start of the event in October.

These companies will exhibit items including tiles, sanitary wares, fitted kitchens, interior décor, lighting companies, security and controlled access to buildings, and top quality paints etc.

Some sponsors of the event are Duraplast, Advantage Austria, Fox Cooling, and Y&W Limited.
