Insurance companies have been tasked to adopt efficient marketing and advertizing strategies based on a win-win approach for effective business partnership to the mutual benefit of the companies and churches.
Network of Associations of Registered non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) in Ghana, which made the call on Tuesday, asked insurance companies to penetrate the market, to cover at least 20 per cent of the population in churches.

“The time has come for the Church and the business community to strategically collaborate and corporate for mutual benefits. Though, the church has a responsibility to meet the spiritual, material and social needs of members, its services to society in the areas of education, food, agriculture and health should be given special attention”.
He said efforts were being made by Churches in Ghana to create jobs to complement the efforts of government and the private sector.
Mr Lucas said the association would assist all religious organizations to enable them to support their members to contribute to national development.
