Jubilee oil field producing over 100,000 barrels a day

The Jubilee Oil Field has been producing 104,000 barrels of oil per day since January this year.

Since oil production began in 2010, the field has produced more than 65 million barrels.

In a statement Tullow Oil said a test of FPSO facilities indicates an oil system capacity in excess of 125,000 barrels of oil per day.

It said the gas compression upgrade project is on course and be completed in the third quarter of this year.

The oil giant said work is ongoing for sufficient gas injection for oil production in the jubilee fields.
