Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has urged the government to implement policies that will support the country's entrepreneurs.
He believes that doing so will cause the economy to flourish and expand.
Speaking at the celebration of his 25th anniversary as the 16th occupant of the Golden Stool, the traditional ruler emphasized the importance of supporting businesses to enhance national prosperity.
He also encouraged entrepreneurs to invest confidently in their country, as it has the potential to transform the economy.
"The greatest challenge our nation faces is the need to redouble our efforts to grow our economy. Governments may come and go, but the nation remains, and it must rely on its entrepreneurs for development," he said.
"That is why we will continue to urge entrepreneurs to demonstrate their commitment by investing more in the country of their birth," he stated.
