XYZ Business has learnt that the Executive Chairman of Databank has resigned.
The resignation of Mr. Ofori-Atta, a co-founder of Databank, took effect last Tuesday. XYZ BUSINESS sources at Databank say Mr. Ofoi-Atta, an astute investment banker is expected to take up a big offer abroad. The sources added that his resignation was long overdue after the man who has steered Databank into a bigger brand in Africa received several offers from abroad.

It has other mutual funds such as the Mfund, Balanced Fund and the Ark Fund. Under Mr. Ofori-Atta’s tenure, Databank has underwritten successful primary offers for Aluworks, Home Finance Company, now HFC Bank and UT Bank.
