A digital wave is sweeping across organizational ecosystems, exposing a huge digital void that many SMEs are struggling to fill. From predictions, the use of digital technologies could add $1.36 trillion to the global economic output by 2020.

To achieve this, organizations – big and small – have to embrace digital technologies and techniques in order to compete in the global economy.

While SMEs have become aware of the need to leverage digital technologies (social media included) to boost business growth, they face the challenge of finding professionals with the right digital know-how to meet the growing demand for relevant digital marketing skills across industries.

Eazzysocial, a product aimed at helping thousands of people gain relevant digital skills and grow their business in a social-first world, will host its first Campus Digital Revolution Summit at Koforidua Technical University. The event which is expected to take place on the 24th, November, 2017 at the Aba Bentil Theatre will take students through the numerous opportunities in the growing digital marketing industry.

Speaking to the press, Gad Ocran, Senior Digital Consultant and Product Lead for Eazzysocial said, "Students will be immersed in the social media business and digital marketing ecosystem and will by close of the event understand what digital marketing and social media business is about as well as recognize the various skills & opportunities that exist in the field".

He further added, “The event will not be the end but a means to bridging the huge digital skills gap that exists today. Eazzysocial campus club will also be launched on that day and will take members through various modules under social media for business and match them to prospective SMEs ".

The event is in proud partnership with Koforidua Technical University Marketing Students and the Diploma in Business Student Association.
