Kumasi Airport to be closed down on December 18

The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has announced it would temporarily close the Kumasi Airport for rehabilitation works on the runway on Tuesday, December 18, 2012.

A statement by the GACL said the airport would be re-opened for normal operations on Wednesday, December 19, 2012.

“GACL regrets the inconvenience caused as a result of the intended closure and wishes to assure the domestic airlines and the general public of its commitment to ensure that safety standards are maintained,” the statement said.
