The transfer of technologies for business, investment and market for Ghanaian businesses are among a number of issues to be discussed at a one-day Ghana-UK Business Forum 2004 to be held in London on Friday, October 22, 2004.
The forum is being organised by the Industrial Pinnacle Africa Network (IPA) in collaboration with the Ghana High Commission in London. Other collaborating agencies include the London Chamber of Commerce, Ghana Investment Promotion Council, Association of Ghana Industries, Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Ghana Export Promotion Council.
Participants at the Ghana-UK Business Forum 2004 will seek to identify international business opportunities for business entrepreneurs and investors, explore resources and capabilities for development of the industrial section in both Ghana and Britain.
Honourable Boniface Saddique Abubakar (MP) Deputy Minister of Tourism and Modernisation of the Capital City and Chairman of the IPA Advisory Board will be the keynote speaker at the Business Forum, which will draw business entrepreneurs, investors and friends of Ghana from the UK.
The Ghana-UK Business Forum 2004 will be climaxed with an awards ceremony on October 24th 2004 to recognise and honour Ghanaian entrepreneurs based in the UK for their entrepreneurship and contribution to the development of the economy of Ghana.
