MASLOC begins payment of loans to fire victims

The Microfinance and Small Loan Centre – MASLOC - has started distributing soft loans to victims of the Makola number 2 fire disaster.

The market was decimated by fire about three months ago leaving thousands of traders out of business.

President Mahama tasked MASLOC to help the affected traders with loans to rebuild their businesses.

The first batch of market women will be receiving the money on Tuesday.

PRO of MASLOC Mustapha Abubakar in an interview with XYZ News said that 3 million Ghana cedis have been made available for the victims adding that all those who have applied for the loan would be attended to.
