Ghana mobile market leader MTN has launched vehicle tracking and audio conferencing services. The new auto tracking service is available at a cost of GHS10 (US$4.35) per month and there is a once off charge of GHS315. Tracking devices are installed at accredited garages. Customers are given a unique username and password in order to log onto the vehicle tracking web portal (www.trackmaster.com.gh) and track their vehicles. The audio conferencing service enable subscribers to attend meetings and conferences without physical presence.
