Winner of the promo receiving his prize
MTN, the leading Telecommunications giant in Ghana has handed over a brand new Hyundai i10 salon car to John Amoah from Cape Coast in the Central Region for emerging the overall winner with the highest number of MoMo transactions for the MTN MoMo @ 10 promotion.
The presentation ceremony, which was held at Cape Coast Hutchland City saw other top users receiving prizes such as Samsung 45, 49, 60 and 65 inches smart television sets and e-cash prizes ranging from GHC 500 to GHC 3,000.
Excited John Amoah expressed his appreciation to MTN for acknowledging and rewarding his patronage of the service despite his disbelief in the promotion when it started.
He urged all Ghanaians to use MTN Mobile Money in their day to day transactions including payments for school fees, fuel, food and savings etc.
An excited audience made up of MTN officials and other prize winners welcomed him with applause as he received the keys to the car.
After the presentation, the Regional Senior Manager for MTN South West Business District , Mr. Prince Owusu Nyarkoh encouraged Ghanaians to resort to the use of MTN Mobile Money in their day to day transactions including payments for school fees, fuel, food and savings as it makes it easier for people to do business.
‘’I am encouraging all Ghanaians to use Mobile Money for paying their ward’s school fees, buying fuel, transfer of money and every other thing. They can even save on their Mobile Money wallets. So once they use their wallets, when the opportunity comes, they will also be able to win some prizes and awards’’ he said.
