MTN Ghana has assured its customers of more exciting products and services this year as it plans to invest hugely in technology infrastructure.

Mr. Selorm Adadevoh, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who gave the assurance, said the company cherished the patronage of its customers and that it was imperative to give them quality service for their loyalty.

Speaking at a ‘Yello Soiree’ event in Kumasi to celebrate its loyal customers, the CEO announced that 2019 was dedicated to its customers, indicating that providing quality services for customer satisfaction would be the main focus of MTN.

The Yello soiree is an annual event introduced by MTN in 2015 to celebrate loyal customers and key stakeholders across the country to show appreciation for their continuous patronage.

The maiden edition for 2019 which was held in Kumasi was attended by hundreds of customers who were fed and entertained with lucky ones taking home various prizes.

Mr. Adadevoh said MTN would continue to put in extra efforts to come out with innovative products and services that would meet customer needs.

He said the company recently launched 4G+ with the view of improving internet speed, having given customers a feel of 4G in the last three years.

“As part of our 4G campaign, we launched a product called turbonet as a pilot which allows you to have a wireless box for internet at home. In the past we had to dig fibre in the ground all the way to people’s doorstep but today you can pick up a box in our office and you can plug it at home to have access to internet with fibre”, he stated.

He said though the product had not been commercially launched, over 7,000 boxes had already been sold.

Apart from quality network experience, he said, MTN Foundation was also making significant impact on the lives of Ghanaians through the execution of various projects in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment.
