Mahama’s visit to Turkey… Reroy Group garners benefits

As a fallout from President Mahama’s visit to Turkey, Reroy Group of Companies has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a leading Turkish group of companies, Gürmen Group to cooperate and explore business opportunities in Ghana.

Reroy Group is a Ghanaian based leading group of companies engaged in manufacturing, processing and distribution of electrical cables and accessories. Gürmen Group is one of the leading Turkish group of companies engaged in clothing, real estate, energy, mining, maritime, logistics, agriculture and financial sectors.

Areas of interest for the partnership include investments in energy sector, infrastructure development, mining sector, agriculture and other related investment or development projects.

The two companies in furtherance of their mutual interest intend to execute a joint venture agreement or shareholders’ agreement based on business opportunities identified as and when deemed beneficial.

In a response to the President’s call for Turkish investors to visit Ghana and explore opportunities for investment, the Chairman of the Board of Gürmen Group, Remzi Gur will soon pay a visit to Ghana to consolidate business relationship with Reroy Group of Companies and explore other business opportunities.
