Information Minister, Mustapha Hamid has charged the newly reconstituted governing board of the Ghana Publishing Company Limited to work effectively so the publishing house can become viable and notable for academic materials in the country.
According to him, that dream of making the company work again would be achieved if they make the industry competitive by using modernised machinery for their work.
The minister therefore admonished them to make the company more visible and competitive to attract printing contracts that will bring an urgent need for the private investment/partnership.
He expressed optimism in the new Board saying they have “an excellent mix of personalities with complementary skills sets to make Ghana Publishing work again”.
