The tension between workers and management of the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) appears to have been turned a notch higher as StarrFMonline.com investigation has revealed that the statement that announced the breakaway of the bank’s staff from UNICOF was engineered by the management.

Internal documents intercepted by StarrFMonline.com has several of the workers who are supposed to have met on the breakaway meeting denying knowledge of the action.

Some of the individuals who are purported to have signed the release, claim in a written denial that they have no idea of the statement and never took part in a meeting that took such a decision.

The workers, who spoke to StarrFMonline.com in confidence, claim that they are aware of a secret recruitment exercise that has been undertaken by their management at the KNUSTFORD University at East Legon in Accra.

They further alleged that the new recruits are being drafted into their local union to spearhead the secession agenda being pursued by the management.

Workers of the Agriculture inclined bank have, in recent times, had issues with their Board and management over the decision to list on the stock exchange. They have accused them of incompetence and mismanagement.

The development led to a sit down strike at the various branches of the bank across the country some weeks ago.
