Trading activities on the Ghana Stock Exchange relapsed on Monday with total shares traded declining from a peak of 2.04 million shares to as low as 20,100 to open the week.
Only eight equities out of 22 sold shares as the market again slumped under heavy bearish sentiments from the absence of institutional investors.
The GSE All Share Index, however, rose marginally at 0.29 points to open the week at 958.19 points from 957.90 points.
Super Paper Products Company (SPPC) registered the only price change at the session. It gained 28 cedis to close 325 cedis.
Market capitalisation was up slightly at 3,908.37 billion cedis as compared to 3,907.82 billion cedis at the previous close on Friday.
