Accra, June 28, GNA - The main market index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) made a moderate gain in trading on Monday rising by 6.39 per cent.
The GSE All-Share Index closed the day at 7,050.75 points from Friday's close of 7,044.36 points.
Change for the year surged towards the 100 per cent mark at 98.42 per cent.
There were 299,800 shares that changed hands with only four equities seeing price changes.
Enterprise Insurance Company (EIC) gained 690 cedis at 18,000 cedis, Guinness Ghana Limited was 100 cedis better at 12,500 cedis, Fan Milk Limited went up by 50 cedis at 7,800 cedis while Clydestone rose by five cedis at 886 cedis.
Market capitalization ended at 96,973.42 billion cedis from 3,321.08 issued shares.
