Ghanaian technology entrepreneur, Eric Appiah, is developing Adeton AI, an artificial intelligence (AI) platform designed to help businesses find potential customers, prepare sales proposals and improve how they attract new clients.

With more than a decade of experience in software development, cybersecurity and digital transformation, Appiah is using his technology background to develop a tool that addresses one of the challenges many entrepreneurs face: finding the right customers and turning potential business opportunities into sales.

Adeton AI is designed for business owners, marketers, freelancers and small companies that want to grow their customer base but may not have the resources to employ dedicated sales and marketing teams.

The platform helps users discover potential customers, research their businesses and prepare personalised emails and business proposals. Rather than sending the same message to several companies, users can develop communication tailored to the needs and activities of each prospective client.

This approach is intended to reduce the time spent searching for customers and preparing sales messages, allowing entrepreneurs to concentrate more on running their businesses and building relationships with potential clients.

Who is Eric Appiah?

Appiah has worked on various digital products, including e-commerce platforms, mobile applications, recruitment systems, online grocery services, legal information applications and vehicle-parts platforms.

His experience in developing digital solutions for different industries has informed his work on Adeton AI, which focuses on helping businesses improve their customer outreach and sales processes.

Beyond developing technology, Appiah has also trained professionals, entrepreneurs and students in the use of digital tools. His training engagements have included Oxfam Ghana, the United States Embassy’s American Spaces programme, GIMPA and small and medium-sized businesses supported by AngloGold Ashanti.

The training has covered artificial intelligence, digital marketing, cybersecurity, customer relationship management, content creation, business analytics and automation.

What Adeton AI means for businesses

The platform is being developed at a time when small and medium-sized enterprises are looking for affordable ways to compete in an increasingly digital business environment.

Many businesses struggle with limited marketing budgets, incomplete customer databases and a lack of specialised sales personnel.

Adeton AI seeks to address some of these challenges by helping users identify prospects and prepare professional communications more efficiently.

Its focus on prospect research and personalised business outreach also places it among emerging AI-powered tools designed to support entrepreneurship and business development.

Appiah’s work reflects a growing effort by Ghanaian technology professionals to build digital solutions for local and African markets, with tools that can help businesses use technology to improve their operations and reach more customers.
