Metso Ghana outdoors innovative products

Metso Ghana, a leader in the mining and construction equipment manufacturing and supplier of sustainable technology and services in Ghana, has showcased new products to road contractors in Takoradi.

The mining and construction equipment included crushers, feeders, conveyors and surge hoppers. Contractors were subsequently taken through training to enable them have first hand information about Metso’s new products for the African market.

Louis Santos, Manager in charge of Europe, Middle East and Africa, said in a statement to the Ghana News Agency that the products would help enhance operations of contractors. He noted that the mining and construction projects were demanding innovative solutions to meet the technological, quantity, quality and delivery requirements.

He said Metso’s new Lokotrack 1000 series was a combination of ‘best-in-class product quality and engineering that conformed to challenging working conditions. Lokotrack 1000 series had three models which are the C1000 Jaw Crusher, the G1000 Cone Crusher and the S1000 Screen, forming flexible cost effective track solutions whether they stood alone or worked in multi-stage crushing in mining, construction or recycling.

Mr Santos added that the company’s crushing and screening equipment had test-proving fuel economy combined with the industry’s most consistent production levels, maximizing profitability.

Joseph Obrempong, the Construction Sales Manager of Delta Ghana, a subsidiary of Mantrac Ghana Limited, said in the statement that Metso Ghana was dealing with the mining companies only, whilst his outfit was handling the construction aspect of the business.

He indicated that Delta was the authorized dealer of Metso’s construction equipment and that their target market was those in the quarry industry, supplying them with crushing and screening plants.

He stressed that Delta Ghana provided customers with comprehensive solutions backed by technical know-how, experience and in-depth knowledge.
