MoneyGram tellers win big in Ghana

Ms Abayaa Aidoo of Stanbic Banks’ Achimota Mall branch got the surprise of her life on December 15, 2017, when she received her surprise rewards for stellar performance on MoneyGram in Ghana for the month of November.

MoneyGram, a leading global remittance company is offered in over 2000 branches of 23 commercial banks in Ghana. The service allows Ghanaians abroad to send remittances to their loved ones. In recognition of the immense contribution, frontline operators contribute to ensuring excellent service, the company is rewarding its top tellers in November and December.

Ms Aidoo was chosen to launch the program, with a surprise gift presentation. The Head of MoneyGram’s Anglophone West Africa region, Mr Patrick Appiah delivered the prizes to an elated Abayaa and the Stanbic Team Abayaa and her colleagues at the branch could not hide their joy and promised to continue their performance in delivering MoneyGram to their customer.

Apart from Abayaa, over 200 tellers from various banks in Ghana have also been awarded for their superior performance.

The reward scheme continues through December 2017, with grand prize presentations in January 2018.
