Nana Addo returns from Africa CEO forum

The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has returned from the Africa CEO Forum which took place in Geneva, Switzerland.

The 5th edition of the forum was under the theme “Rethinking Africa’s business model….’

Speaking during the forum, the President entreated his other African counterparts not to depend solely on foreign aid to develop their countries.

Addressing journalists when he touched down in Ghana, he said “Let’s hope that the visit will pay dividends for the country as we go along but it is very important that the new administration takes advantage of every opportunity to explain our policy and explain how we want to position our country as a good investment destination’.

The forum brought together CEOs of the largest African and international companies, political decision makers from more than 40 African countries and investors on the continent.
