Nokia launches customer care support

Nokia on Wednesday launched its customer care support centre to give its loyal customers the best value for money.

Mr Kolawole Osinowo, Care and Logistics Manager, Nokia West and Central Africa, said the core value of Nokia brand focused on durability and would not rest on its success but improve on its customer support.

Mr Osinowo explained that customers, who purchased Nokia phones at its authorized centre, Midcom Limited, stood the chance of enjoying the benefit of warranty.

He said when such phones develop faults within the 12 months after purchase; customers would be entitled to send their phones to the authorized service centre, Link Africa for repairs free of charge.

He said Nokia has invested in training skilled engineers to handle after sales services, adding that, the idea was to ensure that customers had peace of mind when they purchase Nokia phones from authorized centres.

Mr Osinowo stressed that the warranty will however be null and void if within the warranty, customers sent their phones to unauthorized shops for repairs.

He said Nokia has engaged the services of 20 couriers in Accra to facilitate the process and that the company has opened new service centres in Osu and Circle, and urged customers to visit the centres for any inquiries.

Mr Osinowo said the company will launch an event christened learning Zone on their website for customers to be trained on how to use Nokia phones, stressing that, the trainer would respond to questions from the customers live and instantly.

Mr Akhtar Khan, Managing Director of Midcom Limited, Sole distributor of Nokia phones in Ghana said his outfit was happy to be associated with Nokia, adding that, the partnership would enhance economic growth.
