Nominations open for 2017 Aviation Awards

The organizers of the prestigious Aviation Awards, Ninetyeightz Events in collaboration with the stakeholders in the aviation industry, have opened nominations for the second edition of Aviation Awards, scheduled for July at the Movempick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.

A statement signed by Bergis Kojo Frimpong, the event Director for the event and copied to the media said nominations are now opened until May 19, 2017.

He said “As we await the launch of this year’s event, nominations have been opened and collation of entries has started”.

Kojo Frimpong noted that the award provides a platform to recognize individuals and companies that play a significant role in the growth and development of the industry while recognizing the key functions within the industry that promote growth and sustainability.

According to the event director, 'We exist to recognize distinctions in the field and also to promote the interests of the Aviation industry, nationally and internationally'.

Some of the categories for awards scheme include aviation company of the year, outstanding contribution to Ghana aviation award, airline operators award, airport achievement award, promising aviation professional award, aviation institution award, aviation online payment awards, aviation cargo transporter award and brand of the year.
