Accra, June 23, GNA - North American Airlines has offered passengers travelling from New York to Ghana for PANAFEST 2005 in July a special return fare of 1,650 dollars. The offer was announced at a meeting on Thursday between representatives of North American Airlines and the Chairman of PANAFEST Foundation, Mr Kojo Yankah.
A statement issued in Accra by the Foundation said the two organizations agreed that until a Memorandum of Understanding was signed at the weekend, PANAFEST Foundation could rely on North American for improved collaboration in all future PANAFEST events.
Mr Peter Bogovich, Vice President of North American Airlines and Mr Robert Perry, Vice President World Air Holdings, indicated that they would be willing to begin to work with the PANAFEST Foundation for PANAFEST 2007 at the beginning of 2006. Mr Yankah expressed the hope that the continued working relationship with North American Airlines would end some of the major nightmares associated with travelling from America to Ghana during PANAFEST.
