Rocksource ASA in talks to increase holding in Ghana consortium
ACCRA, December 21 -- The Norwegian oil and gas exploration services provider Rocksource ASA said on Tuesday (20 December) that it was in talks to increase its stake in an exploration and production consortium operating offshore Ghana.
Rocksource currently holds a 30% share in the consortium.
The licence area offshore Ghana holds proven reserves of an estimated 75m barrels of oil and 700bn cubic feet of gas. Seismic data also shows interesting unexplored prospects in the area.
