Barekese (Ash), June 10, GNA- The Nwabiagya Rural Bank has disbursed 1.2 billion cedis to some of its customers including farmers and organised groups under the bank's micro financing facility. Mr Samuel Nuamah Dankwa, Supervising manager of the bank who told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview at Barekese on Tuesday said the bank gave out 800 million cedis to organised groups.
Barekese (Ash), June 10, GNA- The Nwabiagya Rural Bank has disbursed 1.2 billion cedis to some of its customers including farmers and organised groups under the bank's micro financing facility. Mr Samuel Nuamah Dankwa, Supervising manager of the bank who told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview at Barekese on Tuesday said the bank gave out 800 million cedis to organised groups. Individual farmers also received 400 million cedis for the expansion and general maintenance of their farms, he added. Mr Dankwa said the bank's entry into the mobile banking known as the 'Susu' was yielding the desired results. He advised the beneficiaries to ensure early refund to enable others to also enjoy the facility. 10 June 04
